Job Position Summary:
The Business Development Manager functions as a consultative sales representative responsibility for selling information products and services to pharmaceutical companies. Working with a tightly-knit team around the globe, you will have shared responsibility for sales performance in the European region.


This salesperson’s responsibilities will include:
  • Territory development
  • Client prospecting and lead generation
  • Information interviews to assess prospect needs
  • Presentation and product demonstrations
  • Determination of the appropriate technical and business solution for the prospect
  • Identification and familiarization with all relevant decision makers and key influences
  • Pricing and contract negotiations
  • Overall management of the prospect relationship
  • Current customer management
  • Attend conferences and trade show events and serve as a visible marketing representative
  • Provide prospect and market feedback
  • CLOSE BUSINESS AND REACH/SURPASS QUOTA

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience selling to C-level decision makers
  • 3-5 years successful experience in sales, preferably B2B
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience in working with multiple decision-makers to close sales
  • BA or BS degree from an accredited four year university or college; a degree in a health related field is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with pharmaceuticals or IP an advantage but not a necessity

Job Summary:
Primarily, you will be responsible for the QP release of licenced products and IMPs. In addition, you will be responsible for the Analytical Support Team Manager and QC Team Manager, both of whom run small shift teams of Chemistry Analysts.
You will take ownership of the on-site Quality systems and Vendor / Supplier Assurance programmes, so this role will give you an excellent chance to implement Quality improvements based on your experiences from other companies.
You will oversee Validation activities and audit processes, ensuring that GLP, GMP, COSHH and Health & Safety requirements are met at all times. From a management perspective, you will led departmental meetings, set targets and project timelines and allocate resources to ensure that clients’ requirements are met appropriately.

Requirements:
The successful candidate must be a registered Qualified Person, with the legal ability to release both licenced products and IMPs. Solid dose experience is essential.
Ideally you will have a strong Analytical Chemistry background with previous experience from a Pharmaceutical QC environment and industrial application of various techniques including HPLC, GC and MS.
Previous management experience is essential, as is proven expertise of handling multiple tasks at once and performing to tight deadlines.
You must be able to demonstrate first-rate leadership skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.

  • Responsible for driving target sales of products through Hospitals to positively impact on the Business.
  • To identify and target key accounts to build and develop KOLs and effectively influence Senior NHS Customers.
